Shanghai Kigon Valves has carried out technical cooperation and exchange with Hefei General Machinery Research Institute.

On March 16th, the company's chairman Dai Xiancai led a special delegation to visit Hefei General Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hefei General Machinery Research Institute"). The company's executive vice president Jin Chengbo, the assistant to the chairman Zhang Jing, and other personnel accompanied the visit. This high-level communication aimed to further enhance mutual understanding between the two units and promote more in-depth technical cooperation between them. 

Hefei General Machinery Research Institute is a multi-disciplinary comprehensive national first-class research institution affiliated to China Machinery Industry Group Corporation. It is the national-level enterprise technology center of China Machinery Industry Group and also the national engineering research center for pressure vessels and pipelines safety.

Dr. Chen Xuedong, the chairman of Hefei General Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd., on behalf of the institute, warmly welcomed the visit of Chairman Dai Xiancai and his delegation. The general manager of Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, Wang Bing, the deputy chief engineer of the institute, Huang Mingya, the director of the Inspection and Legal Affairs Department, Xu Jiaxin, and the director of the Valves and Petroleum Equipment Division, Wang Wei, among other key officials, participated in the meeting and exchange. At the exchange meeting, both sides introduced the detailed situation of their respective units and conducted in-depth communication and exchanges on the specific projects for cooperation between the two sides. 

Academician Chen Xuedong expressed his approval of the new product development currently underway by our company. However, he also emphasized that our product development must be in line with user needs, and that we must fully consider the economic aspects of the products and the irreplaceable nature of new technology applications. He particularly stressed that as a shareholder unit of Shanghai Kigon Valve Co., Ltd., the Hefei General Machinery Research Institute and our two parties must strengthen cooperation in high-end valve technologies such as "import substitution" and "military industry", and make Kigon Valve a stronger and larger enterprise.

Through this visit and communication, the mutual understanding between our company and Hefei General Machinery Research Institute has been further enhanced. In the next step, we will strengthen cooperation more closely on matters such as ultra-low temperature valve testing technology and the joint development of special valves, enabling our company to make further progress in entering key technical fields such as high-end special valves.
