Description

The WZ41H forged steel corrugated gate valve is a high-end industrial valve specially designed for harsh working conditions. Its core value lies in achieving a "zero external leakage" seal in the valve's packing chamber area. It is particularly suitable for handling toxic, harmful, flammable, explosive, highly corrosive or high-value media, as well as pipe systems with extremely high environmental safety requirements. This valve is designed and manufactured strictly in accordance with international authoritative standards such as API 602, MSS-SP-118, BS 5352 and ASME B16.34. Its inspection and testing are based on the API 598 standard, ensuring the reliability and interchangeability of the product. 

The valve body is made of high-quality forged steel, with a dense structure, high strength and excellent pressure-bearing performance. This effectively avoids possible defects in castings. The most significant structural innovation lies in replacing the traditional packing box with a metal bellows assembly, upgrading the dynamic seal between the valve stem and the valve cover to a fully metal, non-contact, permanent seal, thereby fundamentally eliminating the possibility of medium leakage along the valve stem. 

According to the installation, maintenance and operating conditions of the customers, the valve offers two highly reliable valve cover connection schemes: the bolted connection with an elastic gasket sealable valve cover, which uses high-strength bolts and nuts for connection and 304L clamped flexible graphite elastic gasket for sealing, facilitating on-site disassembly and internal maintenance; and the threaded connection with a fully welded sealable valve cover, where the full weld seam sealing is implemented after pre-tightening the threads, providing a permanent, non-detachable static seal and completely eliminating the leakage risk at the valve cover. This valve is designed as an exposed stem support type (OS&Y), with the valve stem threads located outside the valve cover, making the opening and closing status visible. 

The connection method at its end is flexible, and it can adopt socket-welding ends (in accordance with ASME B16.11) or threaded ends (in accordance with ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 NPT), and integrates mature structures such as integral upper sealing seats and self-centering pressure plate sleeves. It is the preferred safety shut-off equipment for key pipelines in fields such as petrochemicals, fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, nuclear industry, and oil and gas transportation.

Features

1. The revolutionary waveguide seal structure ensures zero external leakage. 

The most crucial advantage of the valve lies in the adoption of a metal bellows sealing component. One end of the bellows is welded to the valve stem, while the other end is welded to the valve cover or related components, forming a completely sealed metal barrier. When the valve is opened or closed, the bellows expands and contracts, and the medium is completely isolated in the inner cavity of the bellows, unable to come into contact with the valve stem or the external environment. This design completely solves the leakage problem that may occur in traditional packing seals due to wear, aging, or temperature changes, providing the most reliable sealing safety. It is particularly suitable for working conditions involving highly toxic, radioactive, or highly hazardous media. 

2. Dual valve cover design, meeting diverse installation and maintenance requirements 

The valve offers two classic valve cover designs, providing users with great flexibility. The bolted valve cover structure facilitates regular inspections, maintenance, or component replacements of the valve interior, making maintenance convenient. The welded valve cover, on the other hand, offers the highest level of connection integrity and sealing, completely eliminating the potential leakage point at the valve cover connection, and is particularly suitable for critical pipelines with extreme sealing requirements or those that aim to minimize detachable joints to the greatest extent. It is in line with the modern industrial plant management concept of reducing leakage points (LDAR). 

3. Rigorous forged steel structure and compliance with standards 

The valve body is made of forged steel, which has a higher material density, better mechanical properties and better impact toughness compared to castings. It is particularly suitable for high-pressure, high-temperature and thermal cycling conditions. The entire process from design to acceptance strictly follows international standards such as API, ASME, and MSS, ensuring the interchangeability of dimensions, the reliability of pressure and the stability of quality. This provides users with globally recognized quality assurance. 

4. Multiple additional safety and convenience designs 

The valve is equipped with an integral upper sealing seat. When the valve is fully open, this sealing pair can provide an additional sealing point under pressure, allowing for safe online replacement or tightening of the packing (if a backup packing design is available) or for other maintenance. The design of the valve stem with an oiling valve provides an additional safety line. In extreme cases or after long-term operation, special sealing grease can be injected through the oiling valve to provide additional lubrication or emergency sealing for the valve stem system. The exposed stem (OS&Y) design enables operators to visually determine the opening degree of the valve, avoiding incorrect operation. 

5. Flexible end connections and reliable performance 

The two connection methods, socket weld end and NPT thread end, enable the valve to flexibly adapt to different pipeline designs and installation requirements. Combined with the self-centering pressure plate press-fit structure, it ensures uniform force distribution and reliable sealing of the packing (if set in the non-wave tube area). These proven mature designs, combined with the top-notch wave tube sealing technology, jointly form a high-performance industrial valve that demonstrates outstanding reliability, safety, and adaptability.
