Description

The CFQF series sanitary ball valves are precision fluid control devices specifically designed for high-standard sanitary process pipelines. They are mainly used in material transportation systems that have strict requirements for cleanliness, no pollution, and ease of cleaning. Their core application fields include food processing, dairy and beverage industries, biopharmaceuticals, and specialty chemical industries, ensuring the purity and safety of the medium during transportation. The valves adopt a fully贯通 (fully through) flow channel design, making the internal valve cavity and the inner diameter of the connected pipeline basically the same, achieving unobstructed flow of the medium, with almost no fluid resistance or pressure loss, and effectively avoiding medium residue. 

Its working principle is based on a high-precision manufactured sphere with a through cavity, which is precisely assembled between two PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) valve seats inside the valve body. By driving the valve stem through a connected pneumatic actuator or manually operating the handle, the sphere can be precisely rotated by 90 degrees, enabling the rapid opening or closing of the flow path. The operation is simple and direct. To meet strict hygiene disinfection requirements, this series of valves can be equipped with dedicated valve seat cleaning connectors. Through this interface, cleaning agents or steam can be injected into the valve seat area to conduct thorough online cleaning (CIP) of the valve chamber. The contaminants can be discharged through dedicated discharge holes, significantly ensuring cleanliness between batches and preventing cross-contamination. 

This series offers three main structural forms to meet various installation and functional requirements: 

The CFQF-1 model features a three-piece structure connected by bolts, making it easy to disassemble and maintain. 

The CFQF-2 type is a three-way ball valve capable of achieving flow path distribution or mixing (including T-type and L-type flow paths), and is installed using threads. 

The CFQF-3 model features a two-piece structure with quick clamping connections, making installation and disassembly extremely convenient. 

All the above models can be configured to achieve sterile-level connections and online cleaning functions as per the requirements.


Features

1. Ultra-clean design that meets hygiene standards 

All the surfaces of the valve in contact with the medium have undergone high-precision polishing treatment, meeting the specified surface roughness (Ra value) requirements. This ensures a smooth surface without any dead corners, effectively preventing the growth of microorganisms and material adhesion. The full-diameter valve chamber and optimized internal contour eliminate the stagnant areas of the fluid, meeting the strict "no residue" requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industry, and supporting complete online cleaning (CIP) and online sterilization (SIP) processes. 

2. The modular structure meets diverse application scenarios. 

The three series of structural designs offer users flexible options. The CFQF-1 three-piece bolted type is convenient for deep maintenance; the CFQF-2 three-way type can be used for diversion, confluence or process switching, simplifying the pipeline design; the CFQF-3 two-piece clamp type, with its fast installation and disassembly characteristics, is particularly suitable for flexible production lines that require frequent cleaning or adjustment. This modular design enables a single product platform to meet multiple needs ranging from simple cut-offs to complex flow control. 

3. Convenient online cleaning and maintenance functions 

The optional valve seat cleaning connector and discharge hole design is a major feature of this series of valves. This function enables the targeted flushing and drainage of the valve seat and ball sealing area, which are the most prone to accumulate materials, without the need to disassemble the valve. It significantly simplifies the hygiene cleaning process, shortens equipment downtime, and is a key design for ensuring production continuity and product safety. 

4. Reliable sealing and flexible operation method 

The valve seat, made of high-quality PTFE material, not only provides reliable sealing but also has excellent chemical inertness and low friction coefficient. The valve supports both manual (handle) and automatic (pneumatic actuator) operation modes, and can be easily integrated into the automation control system to achieve remote precise control, meeting the needs of modern intelligent production. 

5. Quick sterile connection and ease of installation 

In particular, the clamp connection method adopted by the CFQF-3 model, as well as the bolt connection of the CFQF-1 model and the threaded connection of the CFQF-2 model, all conform to the standard interfaces for sanitary piping systems. These connection methods are quick to install, provide reliable sealing, and are easy to disassemble repeatedly, significantly enhancing the efficiency of equipment assembly, system modification, and daily maintenance, and reducing the overall operating costs.
